Valves in Hastelloy© B, B2, B3, C, C22 and C276 valves and their use.
The patent holder to Hastelloy©, Haynes Corporation, comments that Hastelloy© can be considered to have superceded both Inconel© and Incoloy© for most petrochemical processes. Hastelloy© is suitable for extreme temperatures and is highly resistant to crevice corrosion. The alloy comes in many grades, as reflected in the table below.
